I’m Cairiel Young, born on the South Side of Chicago, raised between the city and Iowa, and now rooted in Milwaukee for my midwifery placement. I’m a learning midwife in the Primary Phase at SWTC, a MEAC-accredited program, attending both home and birth center births. I also bring my background as a licensed massage therapist and Reiki practitioner into my care, honoring the mind, body, and spirit.

I believe midwifery lives at the crossroads of the spiritual, ancestral, physical, and emotional, woven together like strands of DNA. Birth is a sacred and transformative experience, where everyone present is changed in some way. That’s what draws me to this work.
